Meet Pierre and Laurel
Are you looking to buy or sell an RV anytime soon? Think of a home inspection but for your RV. Some may doubt or downplay the need for an RV inspection. We are not here to break a sale or discredit a dealership or seller. It's our goal to help you make the most informed decision possible about your RV purchase. We want you to understand the condition and state of your RV. This will give you a great, factual report to use as a tool, to negotiate the best rate. RV's can look great on the surface, but there can be many hidden issues that a quick glance can't detect. We want you to make lasting memories in your RV, rather than fall into a money pit.
Pierre Fortin
At just 16 years old, Pierre launched his first business in the logging industry, marking the beginning of his entrepreneurial journey. He later transitioned into the flooring industry, where he established a successful business catering to high-end homes that demanded nothing short of quality and perfection.
Pierre’s ingenuity also led him to design and manufacture a niche log loader trailer, making him the driving force behind the creation of Blue Ox Log Loader Trailers. His deep expertise in manufacturing was pivotal to the success of these trailers. In addition to his manufacturing accomplishments, Pierre owned and operated Blue Ox Trucking, personally maintaining a fleet of trucks, thanks to his extensive background in diesel mechanics.
Drawing on his vast experience with RVs, Pierre became a certified NRVIA inspector and a registered RVTAA technician. His commitment to meticulous detail has been a constant throughout his career, a principle that is crucial in the RV industry. Recognizing a critical need within the field, Pierre and Laurel developed the Blue Ox Endorsement program for RV inspectors. This program trains inspectors to scrutinize every aspect of an RV with exceptional detail, leaving no stone unturned. The knowledge Pierre imparts is vital for RV inspectors striving to advance and become elite in their field.
Laurel Fortin
Laurel began her career in cosmetology as a young mother, where her keen attention to detail was essential in crafting artistic hairstyles for her clients. Her ability to command attention and effectively communicate with others was further honed through her roles as a high school substitute teacher, aerobics, and spinning instructor, where she learned to work in front of a room of people and command their attention while helping them.
Throughout her life, Laurel transitioned into advertising sales, successfully selling radio airtime and print advertising for newspapers and magazines. For over 12 years, she served as a trucking dispatcher for Blue Ox Trucking, managing the logistics of keeping operations running smoothly while dealing with brokers across the country.
As the sole salesperson for Blue Ox Equipment, Laurel took full charge of log loader sales, ensuring that each customer felt like a valued member of the Blue Ox family. Her extensive knowledge of axles, steel, and hydraulics, combined with her meticulous attention to detail, made her a valued teammate in Blue Ox RV Inspection. In the development of the Blue Ox Endorsement program, Laurel helps train inside inspectors to deeply explore the details of RVs, making them feel valued as they enhance their knowledge to the next level of elite.
